WHAT IS GOD SAYING?

Hello friends family and so forth. I am so excited to have had some time to update my Blog! I’ve been very busy here at YWAM in the Missions Builder Program. It is most enjoyable and is beginning to reveal different things I have yet to learn in my life. Working in Construction and Maintenance on the campus is both Good and Challenging. Im applying the skills I have had and also gaining new ones. Learning it probably the root word for this whole trip thus far. “learning”.

I am learning an array of different types of things. Living with people isn't always easy but I feel God is blessing us in a huge way. Coming from being rather comfortable with my own space, to a person always next to me is actually teaching me how to cope in community, in a 24/7 setting. Being disciplined is what I am currently learning... I would like to have set agenda in my daily spiritual life. At first it may seem a struggle to do yet before I know it will be an automatic and a positive habit in all areas.

Encouraging. This is my main focus. Honestly I’m usually the first one to break everything down into negatives and I would love to not do that. As a man of God it is my job to be respectful and to serve. As my friend Naomi said to me the other day “ We do not do it for Jesus’ smile, but because of his smile”. In other words we as Followers of Jesus need to remember we serve because we LOVE not because we want to gain LOVE of men or boast in our works. So I need to carry this on my heart daily.

Here In Mission Builders we are a family and would love to grow with one another, I would love to ask for prayer in these areas; Closeness, Energy (for working), Positive Mind set,Open hearts, and some of us would like to start doing out reach here in Kona on our owns because really it may seem like tropical paradise to some, but there is a need for Gods word to be spread in the city. Thank you so much if you decided to pray for any of these things for us!

Jesus has a yearning for us to come to the cross and be humble. I think our communities need to understand that this is the living Son of God! Be Joyful and excited that you know Christ and not think that sharing him is a job or task, but much more than that. It is out of the pure love you have for Jesus that makes you want to talk about him. Walk down the streets smiling, praying and being excited for the fact that you are loved dearly! No matter where you are at, or what you are going through. Jesus does not budge a bit but is interceding for you!
